System Outage Notice

Servers supporting Sound Internet will be moving to our new NOC facility Sunday Afternoon.
There will be approximately a 30 minute service interruption at 17:00 (5:00pm) CST on Sunday, February 25, 2007.
This will impact all mail (POP3 and web-based), web hosting and DNS services.

We regret any inconvenience, and appreciate your patience and
understanding as we work our way through our facility move.

Firewall Outage

System Outage Notice

We are currently experiencing an outage with our border firewall, This is affecting our external traffic. Traffic to our internal sites is unaffected. We currently have engineers looking into it. We will update this status when we have further info

Update: 13:20

After further investigation this appears to be a Denial of Service attack on our firewall. After placing further blocks in our network the service is returning to normal, we are continuing to look in to the origins of the Denial of Service.

Telco Issue - Customer Service Number

DNS/Mail outage

System Outage Notice

We experienced an outage with one of our nameservers, this is currently causing mail to be rejected. We are currently working on the issue.

Update: 2:21 pm

We have resolved the DNS outages and email is now flowing normally. Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

Network Issues

System Outage Notice

We have identified the equipment causing the network issues over the past few days. We have begun queueing up a replacement for this equipment and hope to have it in place as soon as we've finalized testing of it.

UPDATE 11.8.2006

We've placed security filtering in to our network late yesterday, this seems to have stopped incoming traffic that was destabilizing one of our network routers. We are still in the process of queuing up a replacement for it.
