The convention was called to order at 6:30pm on Monday, Dec 9, 2002.
The Convention was well attended, with 75 delegates & upgraded alternates in attendance, with 47 signed-in visitors, for a total of 122 people, plus many other visitors who did not sign in.
Eight candidates were nominated, though 1 withdrew before balloting started.
