2001 Morgan Grand National Results and Grand National Result data file (Zip format, 134K).
The North Central Morgan Association held the 45th annual North Star Americana Horse Show, on July 5th-8th, 2001 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The weather cooperated, with reasonably moderate temperatures for the first half of the show. And for once, we had no rainstorms at all during the show!
Exhibitors were well fed, with the Welcome Barbeque on Wednesday evening, the Afternoon Dessert party at the Morgan Room at the University of Minnesota, Around-the-World Aisle parties on Friday, and the Saturday night Exhibitor's Party with a spagetti dinner and a live band.
The show was well attended, with about 2 dozen more horses than last year (total of 234
horses in 2001). There were many large classes, especially in the western & hunt
divisions.
